Foundation 6141 is a non-profit organization created to continue the work that Nick Hopkins, IL State Trooper, carried out through his lifetime. Always showing up to give back. The goal behind the foundation to make a better tomorrow for people throughout the surrounding communities. Many individuals work hard to provide for their families, but occasionally a momentary setback can take place, putting these individuals and families into a rough spot, finding it hard to get back on track. The foundation has made a commitment to be there when hardships happen; stepping in to help with everyday needs, assisting these families to get back on their feet.
We strive to serve our local communities and surrounding areas. This includes individuals, companies, or oneself & who qualify for assistance. These pupils must be suffering from temporary financial hardship. Such applicants may qualify for but not limited to: gas cards, donations, cash assistance, utility assistance, bill pay, or resources. The board is willing to work with nominated families, agencies, and individuals to determine the best temporary solution for those facing financial difficulties. Again, please note that not all applicants can or will be accepted. The board is willing to work to find the best possible solution(s) for temporary assistance.
The Foundation was established by Whitney Hopkins (wife of the late Nick Hopkins). The board is comprised of a team of individuals that have a passion for helping others, and the community to create a better opportunity for others in need.
